Project Description
Software is becoming a critical layer of all our lives; it is the language of the world. In the future, not knowing the language of computers will be as challenging as being illiterate or innumerate today. Computational thinking in particular is how software engineers solve problems, it combines mathematics, logics and algorithms, and teaches kids a new way to think about the world.
PlugBee is developing and interactive e-learning platform to help kids learn computational thinking while playing games. We developed a technology that allows to reproduce a real developer experience adapted to K-12. Kids code the progression of a pirate robot to find treasures using a simple programming language expressing the basic concepts of variables, loops, conditional experessions, and so on. By making the learning process fun and interactive, kidsĀ are immersed in their learning experience as they are exploring their creativity.
